The Tamiya XB series are pre-built kits with Futaba AM
radio gear and msc controllers. They include bushings and
friction shocks. They do not use loctite on any of the screws
witch can become a problem with set screws.
I have run a few different bodys on mine. I used to use the
stock body, then I modified a Atomic body made for the rc10gt
and ran that and still do. I also took a Tamiya Juggernaut
body and shortened the bed. I also opened up the wheel wells
to allow tire clearance.
The suspension on the XC trucks is some what limited. Some
opt to redo the rear suspension with new solid four link bars.
There are some problems to work around since the stock lower
bars had the shock mounts. One reason for changing up the
rear suspension setup is that the stock parts will bind or
seize up with time and use. The front end is harder to modify,
I have not changed mine yet except for the shocks.
